Given how busy life can be running a small, medium or large business of any kind it can be easy to forget about electrical testing of portable appliances. DC PAT Services specialises in testing electrical portable equipment at short notice during EVENING slots or even at WEEKENDS when it is more convenient for you as a business or landlord. I also provide training and education in relation Lithium-Ion battery safety and usage.

DC PAT Services is a PATTA approved member. As a PATTA member I have signed up to abide by the highest professional standards and follow the 5th edition IET Code of Practice for electrical inspection and testing.

Test reports and certifications are provided electronically upon completion of the work carried out.

At DC PAT Services I specialise in covering our of hours PAT testing (evenings and weekends) in the Midlands for those last minute electrical safety needs! You should never get caught out with not having a valid electrical test inspection of your portable electrical appliances whether you a large business or a small one man band!
Locations covered: Bedworth, Birmingham, Coventry, Hinkley, Kenilworth, Leamington, Leicester, Nuneaton, Rugby, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick.

Call out charges start at £50.00 for 30 appliances and then charged per item in addition above that initial price. Rates can be negotiated for jobs over 120 items on a half day and daily rate basis.
Discounts apply to uniformed services such as Military, Police, NHS, Fire and Rescue.
What is PAT testing?

Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the term used to describe the examination of electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they are safe to use. Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination but some types of defect can only be found by testing. However, it is essential to understand that visual examination is an essential part of the process because some types of electrical safety defect can't be detected by testing alone.
A relatively brief user check (based upon simple training and perhaps assisted by the use of a brief checklist) can be a very useful part of any electrical maintenance regime. However, more formal visual inspection and testing by a competent person may also be required at appropriate intervals, depending upon the type of equipment and the environment in which it is used
