Portable Appliance Testing, or PAT Testing, is a common service to maintain electrical appliances.
The Electricity At Work Regulations, 1989 cover every kettle, fax, copier, computer, extension lead, etc., including 110V equipment, in a business or public place. In fact, if it is electrical and has a plug on it, whether it is in regular use or not, then it must be maintained safely.
At E.A.PAT, your compliance is our business. You can rest easy knowing that we have taken care of everything - from your report, to remembering your next test. We are City & Guilds qualified, fully insured and CRB checked.
We are firm believers in quality. Having seen a price war in the market place in recent years we feel that this has not benefited businesses and organisations in the slightest, as now shoddy workmanship and a lack of care seem to be the norm within the industry which is very sad. We therefore strive to offer the best possible service at fair and reasonable cost.

Our current price guide is detailed below, as I am sure you will notice our prices are far lower than your average electricians prices, this is because we specialise only in PAT testing which keeps are prices down.
Our price includes:
§ Careful visual inspection of equipment.
§ Electrical test following IEE guidelines appropriate to the equipment under test.
§ Pass and Fail labelling for all items
§ Certificates and reports supplied on paper or via E-Mail
§ Note taken of any potential electrical safety problems observed in the course of testing – you will be informed of any concerns so that you can deal with them as you see fit.
We charge a minimum price of £50.00 (which covers up to 30 PAT tests perfect for small buissness ie shops ,b&b,small hotels etc. And £85 for 31-50 tests after which the below price becomes applicable).
